Working from Taipei today so I ran the numbers on news coverage for companies in the benchmark TWSE index.

Turns out that the volume of news isn’t always tied to size.

You also see the same disparity as in other places: a small number of companies get more coverage than others.

One surprise is that Taiwan Semiconductor doesn’t get more news coverage given its overwhelming weight in the benchmark index.
