People might assume Wall Street traders focus on the same company news stories. I wanted to test that. I used a #Bloomberg application to rank companies by volume of coverage this week. The first snapshot took 55,000 Bloomberg News stories and showed the most written about companies were big caps like JPM, GS, AAPL. Then I used 380,000 tweets from StockTwits which showed how that group of traders is more focused on small caps.
