Amazon’s decision to pull out of a deal to to build another headquarters in New York City was the most read story on Bloomberg today.
It’s not surprising for Amazon articles to be widely read. The company is also heavily covered, routinely ranking in the top 10. For the past week AMZN has posted the second biggest volume of news coverage, following Apple.
Looking at the 1,632 stocks in the MSCI World Index it’s notable that nine of the top ten measured by the average daily number of stories are from the U.S. Only Renault is not American. I’m not sure why the U.S. is so dominant.
