In modern memory there’s never been anyone who garnered more news coverage than Donald J. Trump.

Trump is typically cited in 150,000 to 200,000 news stories a week on the Bloomberg terminal. There were weeks he hit 300,000.

That’s at least six times more coverage than Barack Obama received during the last six years he was in office.

During an average week this year France’s Emmanuel Macron or Germany’s Angela Merkel are mentioned in about 7,000 articles.

In recent weeks there have been twice as many articles about Trump as there are about the Coronavirus.
